Mow Cop Castle and one of its many splendid views. The castle was built as a summer house for Joseph Willbraham in 1746. It is now owned by The National Trust.  Well worth a visit for its 360 deg. views.

In the distance you can see the Radio Telescope Dish of Jodrell Bank

The Jodrell Bank Science Centre is the visitor centre for the world famous Lovell Radio Telescope and the Jodrell Bank Observatory.  The Science Centre encompasses eight exhibitions galleries a 150 seater Planetarium and the extensive grounds and collections of the Arboretum.

Spend a day in the Spa town of Buxton with its Pavilion Gardens and drink the famous Buxton water straight from the spring.

Then in the evening take in a show at the Buxton Opera House
